Hmmm do I 25 random things about me (i’m sure there are 25 but do I know them)… Let’s see!

1. My favourite person to have a few drinks with is my mum

2. I feel like i should read more non-fiction but i love a good cheesy romance

3. I am looking forward to the being a mom one day

4. If I ever get married it will be very small and in a foreign country

5. I think catsitting is a very zen passtime

6. i wish i had the guts to pull off a more wacky wardrobe

7. I’m a small child at heart, i love christmas crazily for all the love in the air, i still give valentines and the first snowfall always me want to want to dance!

8. I really want a pet rabbit

9. I love a good night in; yummy dinner, good movie, maybe wine nothing fancy needed.

10. My (constantly dropped when drinking) rings mean a lot to me

11. I don’t have any real hobbies, i’ve tried lots but i’m just not a hobby girl

12. I love seat dancing

13. I need my alone time sometimes or i go crazy!

14.I’m an only child and had many invisible friends at a kid

15. I make lists for EVERYTHING

16. I love to plan trips in my head and research random countries (will hopefully therefore enjoy travel and tourism)

17. My favourite relaxing place on the planet is my grandparent’s house in London (going on monday, SO excited!)

18. 95% of the pictures on my phone are of visiting dogs at my store

19. I can watch the same movie a million times in a row and not get bored of it. (I have therefore exhausted all the movies in my collection)

20. The gossip that flies around the 6 people i work with is ridiculously high

21. My world is not complete without an animal around

22. I have never seen any of the old Bond or Batman movies

23. I will be happy in a mediocre job so long as i can keep a family and have lovely friends all around the world to put me up on occasion

24. I am determined to see all 7 wonders of the world by the time i’m 30. Wikipedia has a multitude of versions of this so i’m going with both the ‘new 7 wonders’ and the ’7 natural wonders’ . So that would be 14 wonders of the world.

25. I could play solitaire on the computers for hours

I’m all set which is good as i’m suddenly realizing i leave in 17 days! Eeeek!

Holy Moly, what a day!

So today i woke up peaceful but sleepy, considering a nap later on in my day off…

So i wandered downstairs all PJ’d up and made a lovely pot of coffee and perused through my emails for possible apartment leads…

Then while responding to a lovely ad i heard a scream from the basement; my mum discovering that the sewage line had backed up into our basement. There is so much stuff in our basement; massive heavy furniture, boxes of random stuff, a stairclimber from the 80s…

So we spent the day schlepping around in pee and lifting furniture WAY to heavy for us up the stairs and on to the lawn, very gross but a good laugh! And it gave us a chance to go through the masses so i’m not leaving quite as much here when i go away to school. Then we broke the rules and had a bit of wine with our yummy yummy dinner!

All in all, not the day i had planned but totally worth it to spend the day with my mum!

Need an Apartment, etc…

And so the hunt continues…

I am searching craigslist like hourly for an apartment in Vancouver, getting all nervous that i haven’t found one yet but then it occurs to me its only the 3rd of February and I still have loads of time. I just can’t wait to find out who i’m going to be living with! Its going to be good fun!

Otherwise my life is light! I just got back from a week in Montreal, chilling with Emma and it was marvellous! Filled with lovely dinners, yoga, shopping, fun nights out and more yummy food! Plus her roommates are so chill and it was just so lovely to be relaxed for a while.

Now i’m back home feeling lighter at work, especially knowing that i only have 4 weeks left! One week of which i’ll be mostly spending in London with my grandparents. I’m quite looking forward to it, its such a wonderful place to relax!

1 Month today i’m off , woot woot!

How Lovely to Daydream…

I think it is wonderful to have a friend in which dreaming big is not a silly concept. I am starting to plan a trip with a friend and i am just ecstatic thinking of the possibilities! I think everyone should have friend like that, that doesn’t laugh at all the things you would just LOVE to do and lets you dream and maybe helps make them a reality!

So today is ‘snow-mageddon’ in Toronto according to the news. So I am unbeleivavbly excited that I finally found boots yesterday and a hat! Here are a few pictures of how it is beginning, and how my pets are coping. Today at 11am….

My lovely sundays…

So Sunday is becoming my favourite day of the week. I work a short shift at work with Cassius who is so chill, and the customers are always great because it’s a sunday and everyone is happy because they don’t work sundays! Then I go home for a lovely meal with the fam, which with Scott cooking is always phenomenal! Then I head over to the boys house to hang with Efehan and watch an episode or two of Angel. And Efehan is so lovely! Then i dance in the car on the way home. All in all a GREAT day! Plus it has the added advantage of being like a thursday to me because i have strange days off work.

Bring on the day off tomorrow!
